Pros

I work for a great director, and am challenged to think and be innovative at work. As an organization, I feel that there is a commitment to growing the business, and a desire to be better integrated integrated across the organization. We are moving slowly in that direction.

Cons

A lot of our operational infrastructure and work processes on the commercial sales side are antiquated and disconnected. It can be operationally challenging for commercial accounts to do business with us. Brokers are required to have different work methodologies for small group and midmarket accounts. As technology as a whole races ahead with Web 2.0, the operational gap in sales becomes more and more obvious to brokers and customers. We have so many products and options on the commercial side, making it difficult to sell.

Pros

Working from home, that’s about it.

Cons

Micromanaging, forced to help team members while you’re behind on your own caseload. Denied PTO requests, no PTO all summer and no PTO until the end of January 2027 (that’s supposed supposedly when they will be done ramping up with all their new employees.) a bunch of meetings weekly that are pointless. A weekly case conference where they are forcing nurses to present a complex case in front of over 300 people on zoom. Process changes change constantly, there are no job aid or guideline that help you make a Clinical decision but you will get out of it if you do it incorrectly. Save yourself the trouble and apply somewhere else. It is not worth it.
