Pros

-Good place to start and build knowledge to take elsewhere. -Fast growing industry -Pro healthy lifestyle programs -401K match very attractive

Cons

-Too many hands in the pot. No clear lines of responsibility allows all associates to shirk responsibility, leaving customers with the bill. -Poor communication and territorial battles between departments. -Unprofessional conduct. VP's openly discuss their right wing politics and religion in public, often using vulgar, offensive, racist, sexist, homophobic language. -Employee training...you're on your own. -Terrible Health Insurance coverage. -Good Ole Boy system. Management positions go to those with highest level of incompetence. -IT stuck in the last century. Duplication of databases means duplication of work..designed to build independent department kingdoms. -Sales goals unrealistic. -Nearly impossible for customers to resolve billing issues resulting in high member turnover.

Pros

Working from home, that’s about it.

Cons

Micromanaging, forced to help team members while you’re behind on your own caseload. Denied PTO requests, no PTO all summer and no PTO until the end of January 2027 (that’s supposed supposedly when they will be done ramping up with all their new employees.) a bunch of meetings weekly that are pointless. A weekly case conference where they are forcing nurses to present a complex case in front of over 300 people on zoom. Process changes change constantly, there are no job aid or guideline that help you make a Clinical decision but you will get out of it if you do it incorrectly. Save yourself the trouble and apply somewhere else. It is not worth it.
