Pros
There are still good leaders in middle management who are trying to push back and are trying to put their employees first.
Cons
The CEO is pushing down a culture of micromanaging. He continues give raises and bonuses for himself and his ELT, but most employees are lucky if they receive a 1-2% cost of living raise each year. Morale is low across the bank, we are continuously being asked to do more with less. Benefits used to be top tier, but competitors have now surpassed them in terms of offerings and cost.
