Pros
One on one interaction with students. Decent pay for a part time job. Celebrates the success of students and actually cares whether they succeed or not. Easy work for teachers during summer or after school hours. Monthly bonuses for working more hours.
Cons
No room for promotion. Only part time work available. Scheduling is often unreliable because of student call offs and no shows, which will result in no pay for the teacher when their student does not show up. There is no consequence to prevent students from not showing up. Limited coworker interaction.
