Pros
Decent salary, the students were wonderful
Cons
There are a lot of cons. I really think this could have been a great job. The problem was the director. She was unhelpful during my training in such a way that I was unable to succeed. The hours are looooong. I often worked 11 hours with maybe 30 minutes of break the entire time. I was lured in with the promise of a Friday off. What isn't mentioned are that you will be required to work your life away on the days that you do work (including Saturdays). So I was sometimes putting in 50 hours of work for no extra pay. And what about the boss? Even though I communicated that I was having a hard time finishing some of my projects in time, she disparaged me and treated me like I wasn't working hard enough. In fact, I was told that I should be 'proud of myself' that I stayed late (unpaid) to finish everything because I can feel like a hero. She also showed up and left early every day. Be careful. this place could be good if the right people run the show. But, most likely, you'll end up like me.
