Pros

This company has serious impact on the world through it's social good initiatives, political and non-profit work. Company is really flexible on where you work and your schedule Very cool teammates from all different backgrounds - diversity here is huge.

Cons

The company's people team has leveled up significantly in the last year but it's been hard to keep up with what's happening on an individual team level and as a company overall. Lots of changes over the last 6 months and things are feeling more and more unpredictable which is scary as an employee. The company did 360 reviews in April and then a compensation review that took forever and both were managed pretty poorly.

Pros

Good medical benefits, flexible time off and sabbatical policy (if you make it that long). Really fun culture and opportunities to get to know people outside of work meetings.

Cons

Stagnant career growth for employees that don't fall in line, huge disconnect between employees and management, vindictive behavior in senior leadership that was never addressed/ignored, poor hiring practices, hiring "experts" with no SaaS experience, fake mission and values, promoting based on tenure not performance, scaling too quickly leading to layoffs in the same year, some leaders within the organization demonstrated inefficiencies in budget management, resulting in the expenditure of over half a million dollars within a single year, and laying off a quarter of the staff six weeks before the end of the year with an insulting severance package. They'll lure you in with their mission, but beware, they're not ingrained in the day-to-day because if it was, all of leadership would be gone.
