Pros

Spend millions on US folks travel to India, but economically not viable to run operations, Hyland has everything new to offer everyday to US folks, but nothing for offshore folks, only staged dramas and irrelevant dialogues, i wonder why they don't try in Hollywood.

Cons

Here is the deal, they acquired an existing business "perceptive software" and after 3 months they comically say its economically not viable to run the "Hyderabad" operations, hardly 50+ employees which is equal to 8-10 US employees salary wise. Hyland to save themselves asks "Kolkatta" employees to write positive reviews on glassdoor, a confused, useless, good for nothing, (running out of adjectives) CEO sends irrelevant emails "I’m happy to report that, for the fifth consecutive year, Hyland has been named to the list of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For!" :(:(:(:(:(:( Not sure what is it named for as the best to work , no future roadmaps, acquiring business with no business sense, leaving employees in a lurch , generic statements to wind up the operations, no guts to say what has happened why a decision of this kind was taken. I recall a famous dialogue from the movie "Selma", Our lives are not fully lived if we're not willing to die for those who love and for what we believe" Before chest thumping about your brand, first respect people and respect the faith people have in you, that is the real trait of true and great people and organizations, you are neither of those, just a money making maniac mammals without a heart and a CEO he may be a good player, but he is all brawn and no brains.

Pros

Work/life balance Great people to work with on daily basis Ability to work remote (US based) Plenty of development opportunities I've been given the tools I need to do my job and be innovative I have an amazing manager and team that I lead

Cons

I am restricted on where I can hire new employees right now. There are a lot of competing priorities with similar deadlines which can be stressful, but the days go by fast.

Pros

Remote or hybrid capability. Usually a flexible schedule.

Cons

Constant quiet firing. They've figured out how to avoid public disclosures quite well. Every month they're whacking batches of 20~30 employees - esp. if you were in a higher pay band or part of an acquired company. There's constant leadership churn as of late - not that leadership was ever that great, but the clownshow has more makeup on the pigs now. If you were part of an acquired company, the stench of nepotism was constant. Hyland doesn't provide legitimate training or certification assistance for everyone. Their products would fail any sort of security scan by an AI tool too. If you're a customer, buyer beware.
