Pros

Cool place lots to do Lots of "perks"

Cons

Coming from a department where I had more responisabilites and challanges I thought this company would have the same set of challanges and growth . Based on my intervewi . That was not the case I have been very dissapointed the workload is not hard and the challenges are more people related then Technically hard . For me this makes the job boring . When I interviewed I asked for a number and was told the spot was a 50k a year postion. Since It was closer to home I could make that adjustment. after the good feeling in my foirst interveiw and being scheduled for a second interveiw I turned down a different job for more money . To ultimately be offer 42k after getting my Congratulations call. I felt very deceived and have begun looking for a different company The threat of off hour shifts to cover emergencies when we are hourly is unacceptable and the reason a large percentage of my coworkers are actively applying elsewhere.

Pros

Remote or hybrid capability. Usually a flexible schedule.

Cons

Constant quiet firing. They've figured out how to avoid public disclosures quite well. Every month they're whacking batches of 20~30 employees - esp. if you were in a higher pay band or part of an acquired company. There's constant leadership churn as of late - not that leadership was ever that great, but the clownshow has more makeup on the pigs now. If you were part of an acquired company, the stench of nepotism was constant. Hyland doesn't provide legitimate training or certification assistance for everyone. Their products would fail any sort of security scan by an AI tool too. If you're a customer, buyer beware.
