Pros
I found the environment very friendly on all levels. Everyone was approachable and helpful whether they were entry-level workers starting out or Bill Premier, the CEO. The Hyland products are cool to work with and they keep evolving, the technical training far beyond what most companies offer and the Westlake campus is loaded with employee perks. Remote employees periodically get surprise "gifts" since they are not always able to attend company events.
Cons
I understand pay for some positions isn't as competitive as it should be but I felt my pay was in the right range for the position. I was sad to leave Hyland but came across "an offer I couldn't refuse'. Some truth to the rumor that you have to know someone in high places to get promoted.
