Pros
- They sent me chocolate pretzels once or twice. - My Hyland T-shirts will keep me warm when I burn them. - My coworkers were good, hard working people that I will miss.
Cons
I could tolerate the substandard industry pay, I could tolerate the continued erosion of perks and medical benefits. I could even tolerate the freeze on promotions and overtime. But what I cannot tolerate is how this company just abandoned hundreds of people in a time when the company posted record profits and became a billion dollar company. For a company that pushes its employees to constantly vote in 'Best Place to Work!' surveys and touts their value of "Employees are our family!", they did not even hesitate to abandon over a hundred people in the Product Delivery department. Senior management's utter disregard for their coworkers and subordinates is an appalling indictment of what they really care about - ensuring the management team (Almost entirely comprised of older white men!) continue to get their bonuses and golden parachutes. Do not work for this company if you value being seen as a person and not an expendable number to be discarded when they realize the amount of money they can make sending your job overseas. Do not be fooled by reviews from years past - this company has descended into a point of no return, where all of the leadership who cared about their employees retired to be replaced with sycophants looking to maximize every last dollar at the expense of their workforce. It is shameful, it is a disgrace.
