      Pros

      Nice coworkers. Nice perks such as food trucks and other fun events.

      Cons

      * LOW LOW pay. (Look on LinkedIn to see what a job title should pay. Don't expect that amount at Hyland.) * NO performance reviews or bonuses - no matter how long you've been with the company. * No chance for promotion - even when there are openings in your own division and you're qualified. * Always doing a re-org so the direction forward is always confusing. * Actively moving jobs out of the US. (The 150 people just laid off can confirm that. Plus, there are 350 more US jobs on the line.) * Medical insurance is expensive and has high deductibles. * Managers like to hear themselves talk and do not listen to their subordinates.

      Pros

      Work/life balance Great people to work with on daily basis Ability to work remote (US based) Plenty of development opportunities I've been given the tools I need to do my job and be innovative I have an amazing manager and team that I lead

      Cons

      I am restricted on where I can hire new employees right now. There are a lot of competing priorities with similar deadlines which can be stressful, but the days go by fast.

      Pros

      Remote or hybrid capability. Usually a flexible schedule.

      Cons

      Constant quiet firing. They've figured out how to avoid public disclosures quite well. Every month they're whacking batches of 20~30 employees - esp. if you were in a higher pay band or part of an acquired company. There's constant leadership churn as of late - not that leadership was ever that great, but the clownshow has more makeup on the pigs now. If you were part of an acquired company, the stench of nepotism was constant. Hyland doesn't provide legitimate training or certification assistance for everyone. Their products would fail any sort of security scan by an AI tool too. If you're a customer, buyer beware.
