Pros
Teams have good people on them, a lot of them are friends. Let you pick if you work remote, in office, or hybrid. Some nice perks like the LSA. If you have the pleasure of working with someone who's been at Hyland for a long time, they'll tell you all about how awesome the company used to be.
Cons
Lay offs (obviously), benefit costs, Hyland is getting rid of a lot of exclusive perks, so there won't be much to differentiate themselves from any other company. Private equity is squeezing every last penny out of the company to increase the valuation for next year. I wonder why. I heard that some teams were kept on to train their outsourced replacements. One last thing, there are several recent 5 and 4 stars reviews. These are really hilarious, considering they just laid off 20% of their workforce. It's crazy how some people will jump so fast to lick corporate boots without realizing they're only spared until the next round of lay offs.
