Pros

ESOP, Profit Sharing and Community Participation.

Cons

The company is currently worried about their image to the outside world. They badger and force associates to give and make positive statements. Associates live under the fear of being spied and informed upon. Leadership sends mixed signals and will not back up supervision when push comes to shove. Associates are forced to fill out surveys and attend countless hours of training while trying to maintain a balance of family, home life and work.

Pros

Profit sharing is nice if we get it.

Cons

Hypertherm broke two federal laws and put me on a discipline program for a protected activity. After I successfully completed this discipline program I went to human resources with concerns I had. I also reported sexual harassment at one point. Hypertherm fired me for reporting sexual harassment. That's the second federal law they broke. Reporting harassment is a protected activity according to the EEOC
