Pros
Fairly nice co-workers, some are bitter and difficult to work with. There is not set, specific time when you are expected to be in the office, so no one is on your rear end for being a few minutes late. Very quiet office, if you like quiet. Weekly "lunch and learns" attempt to keep employees on trend with products and manufacturers.
Cons
Absolutely no communication - between management as well as management to employees. The basic idea of integrity - saying what you’re going to do, doing it, and doing it when you say you’re going to - is non-existent in this work place. There is a whole lot of talk, about how great things could be, but dead wood at the top pushed against change and new ideas. Management often takes credit for what employees have worked hard to create. A complete lack of thinking about the future and training employees to grow / advance leaves little to be expected when everyone at the top is soon to retire. Keeping up with technology is very difficult for management to grasp. I don't see growth and longevity within this place, unless you’re happy leaving with the same position you entered the firm with..
