Pros
Really nice coworkers. They are funny (especially the group I sat around) and very helpful to someone new to the design industry.
Cons
*Toxic work environment. *Miserable creative director, which goes hand in hand with the spineless managing principal and project manager. * Junior designers are not treated the same. Some juniors have it easier. He or she might be shown how to do things at a slower pace. It’s more of a hand holding experience. He or she is protected. (Pray that you are on the protective team and not the other). * You definitely need to have a strong sense of self and know who you are in order to work here. *12-14 hour days are common they are always understaffed, but they don’t want you to put in the hours for overtime. Of course they don’t tell you that, but you will get the message loud and clear. * They set you up for failure when they want to get rid of you by giving you impossible tasks or just dumping a lot of work that you couldn’t possibly finish on your own. * What they pay is not enough for what you have to endure mentally. Do not work here, you will waste precious time on rude, ungrateful, management that could care less about you.
