Pros

Nice holiday party. Big building in Fairfax.

Cons

My experience was as an on-site Federal contractor. Staff augmentation/lowest price technically acceptable company. During sequestration, ICF gave ZERO pay for the month that the Federal government was shut down and set up their timesheets so that you were unable to collect unemployment during that time. Tricky and terrible. When your contract is up, you're out of a job. My direct manager was a joke who lined them up to lose their re-compete, which happened shortly after I left. There were a lot of unbillable "executives" just hanging out back at Fairfax. Nice holiday party and cocktail get-togethers, but they take ANY staff augmentation, lowest price technically acceptable work and their staff mirrors that caliber. If you want to be on the B team, this is company for you.

Pros

People, Mission, Culture, Technology, Remote. You work on projects and technologies that actually impact and improves the day to day lives of people around you, the community and the Country

Cons

Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
