Pros

I'm sure there are some. As with any company, it depends on your own management chain. Colleagues are great.

Cons

Management chain the worst in my experience. At the intro "breakfast," our senior VP repeatedly said they want our ideas. OK, sounds good. Then he told us we can do all the training we want, but it's on our own time. Bill 40 and nothing else matters. My reaction was oh, they want our ideas because they can make money off them, but they're not going to invest a dime in us. That turned out to be 100% true. Shutdown? Billable people get no pay; seniors apparently were paid. Interesting - they share in the upside of us billing, but do not share in the downside. That's particularly egregious given that missing 3 weeks of pay probably doesn't have much of an impact on them being able to pay their rent/mortgage, buy groceries, etc. How about sharing the downside as well as the upside? Health care costs rise, though not horrifically, and growth is not great, so raise the premiums on employees as if that's the problem. It isn't. The growth is the problem, and the seniors and their reaction to the market are responsible for that. But the pain, again, comes to the billable. Again, the rise in senior premiums probably doesn't affect their daily living, just their retirement stockpile. Bottom line, without many, many stories: you're there to bill, not to build a career. No matter what you say about wanting more, you won't get it. Contact a recruiter to chat about moving into the other areas of the company, and you won't get a return email or call.

Pros

People, Mission, Culture, Technology, Remote. You work on projects and technologies that actually impact and improves the day to day lives of people around you, the community and the Country

Cons

Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
