Pros

Great entry level position for wanting to get into construction, design, BIM, project management. Access to valuable tools such as REVIT.

Cons

- Extremely low pay for what you're doing. - Felt like an internship at times - Internal coordination needs drastic improvement - There were power struggles between departments - Specific Norfolk Location is very hypocritical and bias when it came to upholding IKEA's INGKA values upon its co-workers. (mental health specifically) - No accountability from higher ups

Pros

There are some great, inspiring, and passionate people who work there, but none of them are in leadership positions.

Cons

Leaders aren't held accountable for KPIs or poor behavior. Decisions are made by forum/committee/council, so there is no clear ownership or guidance. The Service Office/HQ leaders look down on the store and fulfillment center teams, making decisions based on assumptions rather than taking time to understand the reality on the ground.
