Pros
Free coffee in the cafeteria Good vacation/sick time package 401K match Yearly bonus when company does well financially Most of the technicians and engineers there were really great people. Fun to work with, very laid back and down to earth. Many company events set up (5Ks, trips to zoo, charity, etc)
Cons
Some toxic employees stick around way too long before being identified by management and are removed (but they usually realize they exist) Training in manufacturing was a continuously changing process. Hard to train workers when you keep changing the training methods. Much of the work, that required at least an associates in mechanical or electrical technology, was stripped down and over simplified. Much of the work involved basic assembly and putting labels on product, or simple automated tests. Not very challenging or engaging.
