This is worth it on your resume only if you're staying in the pharma industry
Cons
Though this could be a function of departments than of the whole company, in the department I was in, they would hire people from the outside into higher positions, but tell others that in order to move higher you must start at the bottom. Therefore, blatant, inconsistent qualifications for jobs.
