Pros

Not much that I can think of except whatever talented people from acquisitions that have not left yet.

Cons

IQVIA has the worst corporate culture I have ever experienced. Respect is allocated specifically in relationship to job title and anyone at less than a VP level is routinely ignored and their contributions and opinions carry no weight. Backstabbing is routine, liars are never called out, and sycophants are richly rewarded. IQVIA wants to "compete with Veeva", but in reality is not willing to invest anywhere near what is needed to do so in terms of R&D, sales, or marketing. Veeva has hundreds of engineers on their solution and spends many millions on marketing. IQVIA wants to compete by buying some legacy companies, NOT integrating their products (but requiring them to update their UI to look integrated), and providing a fraction of the resources needed to even maintain products let along enhance to compete with Veeva. Marketing is a revolving door of untalented individuals with no viable plan or strategy. The sales teams at the legacy companies are being slowly dismantled without any viable replacement. If there is any decision to be made, IQVIA can be guaranteed to make the wrong one. For example, only allowing headcount to be allocated to offshore contractors (here today gone tomorrow), constantly meddling in and then abandoning technology decisions, ignoring serious potential issues that are raised numerous times... I could go on and on. In the technology group, there is really no advancement opportunity. All of the management/leadership slots are filled and headcount is not expanded.

Pros

Remote work option is nice to have

Cons

Zero support from management, with employee development and team concerns often taking a back seat to other priorities. Morale continues to go downhill, and several colleagues exploring opportunities elsewhere or leaving the organization already. The culture is challenging, particularly around providing candid feedback, as employees often are tracker down and face negative repercussions and retaliations. Career advancement depends more on aligning with leadership preferences than on merit and performance. Would not recommend this company to those seeking a supportive environment with transparent growth opportunities. Overall, the culture is political and difficult to navigate.
