Pros

Great people work here! I've met a lot of wonderful people who genuinely want to work together and help the company succeed.

Cons

Company culture. It is the worst I've seen. A lot of people are stressed and worn out. Freak outs and people yelling in their offices was an almost daily occurrence. Managers are not given proper training and it shows by way of micromanagement, poor direction and poor communication skill. I relayed to my manager several times that I felt I was being set up for failure. I saw no career progression and felt I was going backwards - no actions were taken. Upper level management is very political. Everything is unnecessarily intense and urgent and their is minimal transparency. There are people there who genuinely try to help make positive changes but they get so inundated with busy work and making any type of progress is seen with roadblocks. It is a shame. There is a lot of potential here. I choose IQVIA over another large tech company because I genuinely appreciated their mission. They were voted Forbes admired and innovative companies. There is no innovation here. The lack of innovation is one thing that made me leave. I've seen other groups that aren't as bad, in your interview make sure to really ask about the company culture and if you get a bad feeling -follow it! I wish I did.

Pros

Remote work option is nice to have

Cons

Zero support from management, with employee development and team concerns often taking a back seat to other priorities. Morale continues to go downhill, and several colleagues exploring opportunities elsewhere or leaving the organization already. The culture is challenging, particularly around providing candid feedback, as employees often are tracker down and face negative repercussions and retaliations. Career advancement depends more on aligning with leadership preferences than on merit and performance. Would not recommend this company to those seeking a supportive environment with transparent growth opportunities. Overall, the culture is political and difficult to navigate.
