Pros
Flexibility with work hours; work-life balance are very important. People can be fun to work with, and have lots of experience. Employees are empowered to made decisions on their projects. Lots of people who are very experienced and can help someone who doesn't have as much experience. What more can you ask for?
Cons
Salaries not as high as pharma. Lots of work! Not for the faint of heart Complicated systems make things overly complex Every con in this organization can be found in any work environment. (Otherwise, we wouldn't call it work, would we?)
