I had a very disappointing hiring experience with this company.
After accepting an offer, I spent over a week being told that my pre-employment checks were still in progress. During that time, I stayed in regular contact with the background check company, which confirmed that my employment had been successfully verified. Despite repeatedly asking for updates and clarification, communication from the company was inconsistent and contradictory.
At different points, I was told both that my offer had been rescinded and that they were still working through my pre-employment checks. After waiting, following up, and trying to resolve the confusion, I was ultimately informed that the position was no longer being offered as a remote role.
The most frustrating part wasn't that circumstances changed I understand those things can happen. It was the lack of clear communication and transparency throughout the process. I had already made major life decisions based on the accepted offer, including leaving my previous job, only to have the opportunity disappear after being left in limbo for over a week.
I hope the company improves its hiring process and communicates more clearly with future candidates. No applicant should have to deal with this level of uncertainty after accepting an offer.
