Pros

As a career launch point, this company has so much potential. It is located in the heart of uptown Dallas, staffed by young, intelligent college graduates, and reaps profits in a virtually un-tapped market. They typically recruit new hires from college campuses and start everyone from the same job: customer service. From there you are moved up to Senior Associate and then onto one of the many owner client teams. Base salary is extreme enticing for new grads along with free health, vision, and dental benefits, life insurance, world-wide taxi reimbursement, phone bill reimbursement, and very frequent company paid happy hours as well as beer Fridays.

Cons

People managers have zero to little management experiences. They copy each other's management styles in order to "fit in" with the group and that ultimately ends up with very elementary level management. Micromanaging is in the name of the game and every move and project you take on will be under constant monitoring and scruitny. When it comes to company happy hours it is easy for introverted people to feel left out as heavy party and alcohol is always involved. Everyone is "encouraged" to attend and if you aren't used to the frat house mentality, you are in for a big surprise. The product itself that ISN is seeling is not the best therefore you will most likely be yelled at clients because they are bought into a poorly designed system that they have no way of getting out of, unless they want to loose their contracts.

None I can think of at the moment.

Pros

- Lots of people your age. Easy way to make friends post grad - Great pay and benefits - Free lunches - FANTASTIC training team!!

Cons

- Extremely high turnover due to burnout and unrealistic expectations - Work life balance is very dependent on your team and supervisor. I was lucky to have a great team, but spent some late nights. Other teams work long hours and have a significantly higher work load. - Travel opportunities are great, but sometimes it can be too frequent and you can't really say no. - Lots of ways to give feedback, but it is not anonymous. If you say something negative in feedback, it would be used against you. - It is very hard to get promoted past senior Associate due to the limited amount of promotions available. I know several people who were told they would get a promotion and did not. - Lots of happy hours - if you didn't go, you were lame
