Endless hours of entertainment via deep dives on the internet into reviews of IXL by kids, parents, teachers, and former employees. Break out the popcorn, you won't believe some of the things you'll come across.
Cons
1. Makes kids suicidal (see above/ask google) 2. Heartless leadership (fire employees for leaving negative reviews, lay off employees while acquiring others, lay off newly acquired employees during pandemics) 3. Micromanagement to the core 4. Politics everywhere 5. Seriously, kids hate it. As much as you may lie to yourself, this is not a mission-driven organization. They are a dinosaur, behemoth who has market share just because they're old. The company is privately owned by Paul and Jen, and you will never "get rich" working here. No perks in the office. Save yourself and go someplace else.
