Pros
Company is solid and has a great business model. It's been around forever, but most people have never heard of it because it doesn't "make" products, but licenses their software/hardware to major companies. Ever heard of XBox/Playstation? Immersion haptics are in there. Cadillac? Yeah there too. Mobile phones? Yup in there too. They have money in the bank, so you feel secure. Also, there is a great work/life balance. No one wants you to get burned out. Oh, and they are big on patents. They set aside time for company wide "Innovation Days" where you can work in teams to come up with patent ideas so you could actually become an inventor.
Cons
Commute can be bad unless you live close or take the train to the Great America, Santa Clara station, or light rail to N. First Street at Tasman Station, or have an electric car to get into the carpool lanes.
