More cons than pros - Class A Cdl Truck Driver Imperial Dade Employee Review

Class A and B drivers are underpaid. Warehouse workers have inconsistent wrapping skills causing work hazard and unsafe work environments for the driver, hazmat isn’t clear and up to code, class A runs are fairly easy but class B and non CDL runs you’re peddling a lot of freight and breaking down unsafe pallets with chemicals and heavy items on top. Not a lot of overtime available. Insurance is hard to work with and finding providers is hard. They say they promote from within and there is room for growth but not within drivers if you’re already a class A.
