Pros

The work-life balance is typically pretty good.

Cons

Imperial Dade is aggressively acquiring smaller companies across the U.S. and Canada, but the integration process reveals significant challenges, particularly for sales representatives. Leadership struggles to implement a fair and competitive pay structure, which creates substantial obstacles for those in sales roles. Sales reps face high burden costs and are expected to maintain high margins, making it extremely difficult to stay competitive in the market and achieve compensation goals. The current compensation plan for sales representatives is among the least favorable I’ve encountered in recent years. Unfortunately, it often feels as though sales reps themselves are treated as the company’s biggest "customers." In addition, I do not feel adequately supported or valued in my role, and this sentiment is widely shared among sales representatives I’ve spoken to across the company nationwide. For potential employees considering a sales role here, I strongly recommend assessing these factors carefully before making your decision

Pros

Consistent full-time hours. Treated like a normal employee. Real opportunities to get hired on.

Cons

Overwhelming and stressful work. No room for overtime, even though nature of work could have easily justified it.
