Pros

* Friendly folks * Interesting technology space * Some control over personal work (see caveats below) * Good work/life balance

Cons

* Leadership vacuums * No thought behind leveling and compensation * Middle management who want to "keep a lid" on systemic problems * Most of the interesting assignments go to teams with historic close ties to CEO * History of inappropriate promotions for generalists with CEO ties (none recently though) * Very little coordination between groups with similar functional roles * Personal work tends to lack impact given leadership context

Pros

No employer is perfect but Impinj makes genuine effort to be the most inclusive employer out there. I can voice my perspectives, have productive dialogue, and really work with my team on the stuff that matters; not focus on office politics or things that take away from my ability to perform my best.
