Pros

Great people, good pay, decent benefits. Lots of autonomy.

Cons

Don't expect to get rewarded for hard work if you're a woman. Women don't get ahead at Impinj because executives don't value/promote them. Lots of passive aggressive vibes and things aren't always what they seem. Good culture comes with caveats which are sometimes unspoken.

Impinj Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and comments. While it is nice to see your positive comments, my focus in responding is to address your perspective on gender diversity at Impinj. Impinj takes diversity seriously and has made good progress working on its own and with other Seattle tech companies to actively embrace and drive diversity. Along those lines, in 2016 Impinj was pleased to announce its support and partnership with Ada Academy, sponsorship of three participants in EverwiseWoman, and its ongoing work with WiRL. Moreover, Impinj has recently hired several senior-level woman, and there have been internal promotions of woman as well. As with any alumni, I invite you to visit with me personally about your experiences. It would have been great to do so and to be able to address your views while you were here, but even after-the-fact you can be part of making Impinj a phenomenal company, and I hope you will accept my invitation to do so. Sean (Sr HR Director)

Pros

No employer is perfect but Impinj makes genuine effort to be the most inclusive employer out there. I can voice my perspectives, have productive dialogue, and really work with my team on the stuff that matters; not focus on office politics or things that take away from my ability to perform my best.

Cons

I can’t think of any right now.
