Pros

In business environments, “teamwork” is a word that is often used/overused and rarely a reality. Imprivata is the exception. At Imprivata, teamwork is how everyone works every day. It’s part of the culture and can be seen during the best of times and most importantly when the chips are down. As a service provider, I’ve honestly never seen a company where everyone pitches in in such an honest fashion regardless of who owns the problem or how it’s impacting their day. In the truest sense of the word, to be at Imprivata is to be part of the team and part of something bigger than yourself. It’s also refreshing to see an executive management team who understands how important this is and nourishes in every imaginable way they can. Truly, a place you can enjoy coming to work every day!

Cons

The only thing that comes to mind is all the great food around all the time makes dieting hard!

Pros

New CEO is smart, capable, and doing a good job Benefits were good Catered lunch in the office each Wednesday

Cons

Toxic middle management - yelling, tantrums, and retaliation on top of extreme incompetence. Managers fail to lead and are essentially micromanagers of tasks. They create meaningless work, stress out about it, and fail to validate the business need at any point in the process. When you suggest and deliver something of actual value, you will receive no credit. Honestly this was the worst experience of my entire professional career and I’ve never been so thankful to leave an organization.
