Pros
Good people, you don't have to generate your own leads, you do the exact same thing every day, you'll make money if you can stick it out and just bumble through each appt, great career progression since they are always hiring
Cons
A lot of red flags... I understand that I could've done a lot better as well, so hopefully you can look at these things and handle them better than I did, Here's a few things I dealt with: golden handcuffs are a real thing here (I didn't get all my commissions because I gave my two weeks, they said don't worry about the two weeks and I hadn't "earned" the commissions because of the hold window that takes months), mentoring was focused on hyping me up and not identifying how to actually help me (no real substance - always asking me what I think the problem is and countering anything I said instead of having a structured assessment and improvement method - they do have an improvement "plan" but the implementation of the plan is severely lacking... like watch this youtube video or here's some motivational feedback that doesn't really help), the three week training is great until I got actual questions about the products during a sales presentation and realized the only training I had was to call someone and hope they can help (if they even pick up - it's up to me to figure out who to call), they provide the leads - so I had zero control (I understand there are mistakes, but they claim to have an awesome qualifying process for leads and I should have only high intent appts that can buy right then... that was repeatedly not my experience), I had zero communication with the client before or after the appt (I had one shot, which is fine, but I realized real quick that after three weeks of training I actually knew nothing and any deals I got were by luck), they own my schedule and although they say oh, I'll have time to do whatever I want... that was not my experience, unless you ask for time off (which was frowned upon even though you're 1099, which you're technically not since they owned when, where and how I did everything) - oh, also, they encouraged me to give reviews on here in the first couple weeks (so before the new wears off and I found out how things actually worked - I chose not to because that seemed very off to me) - they are trying to grow and it all looks great on paper, but the actual implementation is severly lacking at the team level - lots of promises from leadership that never materialized
