Depending on your department, you can really see the impact that your work has on the lives of jobseekers. Pay is fair and clear, benefits are solid, and working hours are reasonable and clearly communicated. Strong work-from-home policy!
Cons
Transitioning from contractor status to full time can be a perilous and misleading process. Sometimes it feels like the priority to implement new features eclipses ensuring that those features continue to work.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience working at Indeed. We're happy to hear you recommend working with us. We really appreciate your feedback!
I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.
Cons
The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
