Pros
IU offers job security, great benefits (health care, time off, software discounts), and decent pay (for the most part). They also offer many opportunities for professional development.
Cons
Having to pay for a parking tag and then having an extremely hard time finding a parking spot, the amount of red take it takes to get things done, and the cost of having things done by other departments is out of this world. They also enter into contracts with vendors (which means we have to purchase from them) that make the product cost more than it would if you bought it straight out.
