Pros
They try really hard to provide the best benefits they can. Campus located in tough, run down area (Gary) so they try to make the workplace environment/ campus very nice, pleasant to be engaged in. Campus itself small but very worker friendly. Faculty are treated respectfully by administrative staff.
Cons
Like many universities today, faculty have only a semblance of power and archaic 'management' structures to have a impact on the campus decision-making. Its as if the administrative executive allows faculty to believe they have power to change management decisions, but not really so. Executive management makes tons more money than faculty who should be the core value capital of any university. Executive management also knows they wield more power and do so at will, abet remaining 'respectful' on the face to faculty.
