Pros
Well defined processes and tasks. You knew what was required of you. The company is well funded and conservatively managed which was beneficial during the 2008 downturn.
Cons
Very rigid and bureaucratic. Easy to get your job accomplished if it was part of the process but if creativity or new approach was required, forget about it. You are the nail to be hammered down.
