Pros
Dedicated, knowledgeable, professional teachers who care about the students. Nigerian locals are warm and friendly to all foreigners. Students care about being involved in the world: large Student Councils, NHS, and COWS participation. Safe campus. New housing on site. Good salary.
Cons
Prior bad business decisions meant that going into the Covid shutdown meant that the school had to shrink drastically. Businesses related to oil were the basis of the school and that portion of the student body disappeared. Salaries dropped significantly and contracts changed multiple times for employees. Maintenance workers have not had raises for many years, despite major inflation. Housing on campus, though new, may feel "dorm-like". Traffic and road issues mean locals must travel many hours before and after work hours, and limit adventure travel outside Lagos for foreigners.
