Pros
I have been working with Infosys since last 3 years now and also have got experience to work with three giant clients AMEX, Netwest, ANZ in multiple countries. There are some real benefits working with Infosys 1. You can travel to multiple countries, I have been to three India, UK, Australia before I decided to get perm in Aus. I have my friends who have travelled to 17 countries, so, if you like to travel and explore different cultures this might be the place for you. 2. Work culture totally depends on the client you work for, nothing to do with Infosys if you are back at Infosys office mostly you are on bench or buffer to join some other client, even then with my experience I will give 9/10 in work life balance. 3. Infosys trainings, there are thousands of training always present, so good place to keep your skills up-to-date.
Cons
Biggest disadvantage of joining this company is that you are 1 in 0.2 million employees. Its really difficult to be visible all the time and if you are an introvert like me you will always struggle to get promotion and good increment. No matter how good you perform it is really difficult to highlight it if you line manager is blind. Even if you die they will not allow you to change internal unit Infosians are well aware of this. If you don't care for above things there is one more which will definitely impact you, the people and work culture, @here every one is in the race to jump the ladder no one will regret once to dump you if you come in between (true corporate culture). Also if you are outside India, there are already community groups (where all the career path is decided) if you don't fit in anyone of those (specially where your line manager is) only God can save you.
