Pros

-The type of projects you work on are interesting and fulfilling, it feels like you can make a difference in people's lives -Colleagues are wonderful and approachable, and deserve to rewarded for their hard work

Cons

-No staff benefits, staff culture is non-existent -Yearly staff redundancies -Career and pay progression is iffy/non-existent, pay is not competitive at all and you will be stuck on the same pay for years -US-centric higher ups, Inizio Evoke owned by a large wider network where agencies outside of the US don't seem to matter much

Pros

Some of the people there are great, but not many.

Cons

Layoff carousel, 2 rounds of layoffs minimum every year: one round at the beginning of the year and another early July with a few "oops, we lost another account" layoffs in between. Like clockwork ever year for at least the last 4 years. And you best believe they use that threat and fear or being let go to keep you working those 50-60 hour weeks. This is not an agency that values creatives. Its run by Client services who somehow have final creative say. The work they vomit out is bad, the deadlines are absolutely unreal, and its never enough. Toxic doesnt begin to describe the culture. If you arent in the popular kid's club (boot lickers) you arent getting ahead and you will be getting the extra work that comes down when they, yet again, gut an already skeleton crew. Leadership is non-existent and act perturbed when you need them to actual do their jobs. Major swaths of people going out on med leave for mental health reasons and everyone complains of burnout. Don't risk your mental and physical health. It is abusive.
