Pros
After a venture capital was formed they kept the Inova name even though it’s not the INOVA Health systems associated with area hospitals and other medical orgs in the area. It’s really misleading but as employees our patients are often more open to us because of the name.
Cons
The INOVA Home Health was part of the INOVA Health systems but in September they formed a Venture Capital with ASHN. We are no longer employees of Inova. We lost significantly in benefits and pay and ASHN manages from Ohio. I never seen management that were so cold and unresponsive to employees. They don’t answer questions, they make statements and then deny it. They always take and never give. Even former management who stayed on who used to be helpful seem to be not allowed to respond without Ohio’s permission. Very sad for employees. Morale is poor and getting worse. They made some assumptions about what they could do taking over without knowing the No. Va area that others could have told them but they refused to listen. Now they just push harder on employees to make a profit.
