Pros
The benefit package with Inova is great. Hourly pay is fair, not fabulous - but fair. In theory - the fellowships they offer for Nursing are great - however, what is promised with a fellowship is not necessarily what happens once you sign on.
Cons
Management is not great, at best. Communication between management teams is lacking. Understaffed floors have burned out nurses ( who have been constantly training new hires ) leaving the experienced nurses on the floors frustrated and with a lack of patience for new grads or new hires who are changing specialties and require extensive training in their new, chosen field. Patient care can suffer, staff is exhausted and overworked and promises made at the time of hire are not met.
