Pros

-really great team members -safe work environment -managers are very supportive -many opportunities to climb clinical ladder and roles -very understanding employer

Cons

-pay is not as competitive especially with increasing rates of inflation and cost of living around the area -clinical ladder is very clunky and require lots of steps -not enough staffing (nurse shortage), inova does not like to implement travelers so workload is increasing but no competitive pay or compensation -"bonuses" in the form of snacks, food, and items that may or may not help you such as water bottles, shirt, umbrella -traffic is horrendous, they took away the option to work 4x 10 hours/1 remote, when some of the in clinic can be remotely managed especially with no patient days

Pros

Safe care, safe ratios, good coworkers, some good managers

Cons

Pay and benefits aren't competitive even though they claim to market adjust. Like other hospital systems the upper management doesn't really care about employee satisfaction and policies for staff are getting worse, incentives for working short shifts have declined significantly. I notice micromanaging. I feel but manager and supervisors are good, but more and more power is taken from them it seems.
