Pros

We got the day after Thanksgiving off... haha... sorry can't think of anything that would a pro.

Cons

Bad lead quality. Ever-changing base salary. Quota numbers can be difficult to obtain because they are unrealistically high and based on lead flow. Self-sourced leads or prospecting is nearly impossible because most leads are owned eternally by more senior team members. The leadership structure lends to micromanagement. People off-site will manage you vs the manager sitting next to you every day. Also, you will work hard to sell a 12-month contract and the launch team can cancel them for not launching in a 14 day period. Important to note as well is Customer Support has been reduced to live chat or scheduled calls days in advance. If your client has an issue it can take a while to get it resolved. Overall just a very frustrating place to work every day. There are so many companies out there that want to make it a win-win situation with their employees. I ALWAYS felt that it was a lose-win situation with Inside Real Estate.

We strive to assure that our employees are set up to succeed in every way possible. We do this by including all compensation details, procedures, and policies in our employment offer. We urge all potential employees to read and become familiar with all company policies and procedures to assure they feel as confident about joining our company, as well feel about hiring them. Our Sales teams are provided with tools, training, and support to be very successful, but the sales positions are not a fit for all people.

Pros

The office kept systems organized and people responded to communications.

Cons

For the entire three years, the expectation was that implementation work consumed personal hours as needed. I routinely received Slack messages and emails at 9 PM and on Sundays with requests framed as urgent. Weekend check-ins to handle 'critical issues' became standard, and there was never clarity on which situations actually warranted after-hours contact. I pushed back multiple times about boundaries, but suggestions from people in charge suggested this was just how real estate implementation worked. My own time increasingly felt borrowed, and I found myself working split shifts—mornings, gaps during the day, evenings to catch up. The lack of distinction between work hours and personal hours wore me down in ways daily tasks never did.
