Pros

Working remote and some of my teammates make it fun. Overall my direct managers were always really understanding of work life balance.

Cons

Constantly shifting priorities with little clarity or direction. Lack of accountability—some team members, including senior staff, routinely fail to deliver without consequences. Unprofessional behavior tolerated at the highest levels; witnessed multiple instances of inappropriate conduct from C-level leadership. Pay is significantly below market average, even when voluntarily taking on multiple additional responsibilities. Efforts to go above and beyond are rarely acknowledged or rewarded, or when rewarded it is a $100 gift card, which is nice, but wish it was more.

Pros

The office kept systems organized and people responded to communications.

Cons

For the entire three years, the expectation was that implementation work consumed personal hours as needed. I routinely received Slack messages and emails at 9 PM and on Sundays with requests framed as urgent. Weekend check-ins to handle 'critical issues' became standard, and there was never clarity on which situations actually warranted after-hours contact. I pushed back multiple times about boundaries, but suggestions from people in charge suggested this was just how real estate implementation worked. My own time increasingly felt borrowed, and I found myself working split shifts—mornings, gaps during the day, evenings to catch up. The lack of distinction between work hours and personal hours wore me down in ways daily tasks never did.
