Pros
As an account manager coming from oil and gas sales, I have been extremely fortunate to work with a very seasoned group of sales, support, technician and manager who put the employees first and genuinely ask our inputs on things. The La Porte, TX. shop has grown and will continue to do so due to the vision that Shannon Moses has for our future. We have made the focus of communication and safety extremely important, our plant employees and field service teams believe in Safety 1st and have worked to be extremely customer centric. IPS has made some great hires in the 5 months that I have been here, we work together seamlessly and work extremely well as a team. Customers have noticed this and have expressed their gratitude. If you are in the job market and believe you can add value to the IPS Family, I urge you to apply. Our sales team, plant team, field service teams and management all work extremely hard to ensure success. Nothing is given here, however hard work is noticed and highly supported.
Cons
In the 5 months that I have been at IPS, I have yet to experience anything that I would consider a "Con" or a "Negative." Communication and delivery time had in the past been what I would consider an "Achilles Heel," however both of these have been major focal points of management at all levels, our customers have noticed the initiative and as a result we have noticed an increase in purchase orders along with more customer centric focus. We do need more key personnel, if you believe you are that person we highly welcome you to apply. The La Porte shop has put in place all best practices, in addition to a major facility upgrade. Our goal is to be the premier Engineered Solutions and Repair Facility on the Gulf Coast.
