Pros
I started at IntegriChain in the summer of 2016 and then worked full time for almost 2 years before switching to part time. When I first began at IntegriChain, there was still a bit of "bro"culture. However, the managers and HR were aware of this and worked really hard to improve. And, over the course of the time that I was there, they really succeeded! As a woman in the data department, I was definitely a minority. However, both my manager and more senior members of the team were very supportive. They encouraged me to ask as many questions that I wanted. Individuals took hours out of their schedule to help me learn about the industry and to help me see where I could do best in the company. I had a rough start with some light coding, however they were nothing but patient and encouraging and the director of the department even stayed after work to help me a few times. Also, my experience with the managers in my department was that being good managers was very important to them. They really support their employees and continue to work to make themselves the best managers possible. Additionally, since switching to part time I have continued to have a great experience. My managers care about me and allow me to pursue my passions while still giving me the opportunity to work in data. Regarding HR: The company has definitely grown in diversity! Free lunch on Mondays, unlimited snacks, seltzer, and a beer fridge are all fantastic Good health insurance
Cons
Outside of my department, I know that there is a bit of tension, however, I can't speak to much of it. Again- the Data Ops department is amazing and has fantastic managers.
