Pros

Working remote but they are now forcing the local employees back into the office so there are no real pros left.

Cons

BRG executive level management is destroying everything there once was that made working for the company enjoyable. Every day there is a shift within the company that highly disrupts your daily work. Executive level management is completely out of touch with the Recovery Analysts who are doing the work that keeps the company doors open. Anyone beneath the executive level is treated as if they are expendable and depending on the day, they may decide to change your work title and/or your work flow in a panic or out of sheer stupidity. You can expect to report to someone new every other month. Every decision has been seemingly made to make job expectations more impossible to meet and push the employees out because we know what’s happening at BRG is not normal. There is zero consistency and you are not trusted to do the job they hired you to do because they operate under pure paranoia of something going wrong. They have complete lack of self awareness and take zero accountability for their poor and irrational decision making, that has ultimately created the toxic work environment which now exists. They have come to accept their adversarial stance with the employees beneath them and no longer care whatsoever about the effects this has on their employees thus creating a work morale of total hopelessness. They simply no longer care about the human aspect of the job. Bottom line, there are much better subrogation vendors to work for that will provide far more stability, realistic work standards, and will pay you much better. Look elsewhere. Edit: I find it HIGHLY suspicious that a 5 star review is posted 2 days after my not so glowing review of the company and their higher ups. “Usually reviews on sites like this are left by a handful of former employees with a bone to pick…” like my review said, they will never take accountability for their poor decisions and contributions to the toxic work environment, they’ll just say people have a “bone to pick”.

Pros

I genuinely can’t think of any other than it’s a job in this terrible economy and fortunate to have a paycheck.

Cons

If you read the company’s replies here, it’s a lot of words that don’t actually say anything. It feels more like optics than accountability. As a long time employee, I’ve seen multiple leadership changes and none of them have improved the quality of work or the culture in any real way. Some of the more recent leadership hires have only made things worse. Experienced employees are being let go, while the people who stay are expected to take on work that isn’t even part of their role. Everything feels disorganized and reactive instead of intentional. On top of that, there’s very little flexibility. Schedules are rigid and even PTO is handled in a way that feels overly strict and nickel and dimed rather than supportive. The overall approach to employees feels transactional, not like people are actually valued. There is also a heavy level of micromanagement. Even in situations where employees were allowed to work remotely due to weather, there was constant pressure to account for time and activity in a way that felt excessive and unnecessary. Calling it “growing pains” doesn’t make sense at this point it’s been years of the same issues while adding new ones regularly. At some point, it’s just how the company operates. It’s honestly surprising the company has some solid clients because internally things feel inconsistent, impersonal and most times chaotic. There’s no clear and consistent direction and leadership really just pretends to know what they’re doing. At the end of the day what’s presented externally doesn’t match the day to day reality internally.
