Pros

If you want to live in Sioux Center and are an engineer, this is about your only option.

Cons

Absolutely terrible work/life balance. I watched as people with newborn children at home worked from 6am to 5pm went home for supper then came back from 6pm to 9pm. They require you to work 45hrs minimum. With no overtime pay and a bonus at the end of the year that probably doesn't even work out to minimum wage with all of the extra hours worked. Compensation was absolutely atrocious, the lowest of any company I've heard of at similar positions. All of your tasks are tracked at 15 minute intervals so you better work quickly. The culture here was terrible, I've never seen a work environment with so many people throwing each other under the bus so much this was not a team environment at all you were on your own and better defend for yourself.

Pros

Flexibility Awesome People Culture Development Job Security Work Life Balance

Cons

Don't have many at this time other than sitting at a desk all day can be tough. However we have a extremely nice office space so there are tons of opportunities to switch up the scenery and its nice to be able to go on walks around the building to take a break!

Pros

Strong family culture and people genuinely care about each other and enjoy working together, even in a high stress environment Leadership is very accessible and down to earth; no “elite” feel, and leaders regularly engage with employees at all levels Opportunities for internal growth and career progression is real for those who perform and take ownership High level of trust and autonomy in roles, especially in leadership positions Flexible work environment when possible; leadership understands real life needs while still supporting field teams

Cons

Company wide standards and pace of change can feel overwhelming, especially when balancing regional needs and multiple sources of information
