Pros

160 hours of PTO, 9 paid holidays which works out to 30 days paid vacation, just as long as you don't try to use this on month end or popular holidays

Cons

Terrible management, especially HVAC performance. Terrible morale issues, The technicians know that they are just doing whatever they can to produce regardless of quality. Its all about month end revenue. The manufacturers hate the place, and do not like traveling to economic depressed cortland ny. If you are a new engineer out of college this might work for you because you do not know anything different yet, But to the experienced engineer this place is a joke. and more like office space. Stay away if you can help it. The pay is terrrible for what you do, and the pressure for revenue is rediculous. The petty crap that is allowed to happen there just flushes out the good employees and all that is left is the garbage and socially inept. I have never experienced anything so horrible in my proffesional life and I have been in the industry for 12 years.

Pros

Good group of people in local office.

Cons

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
